How to Play
Choose Your Mode
Play versus AI at Easy, Normal, or Hard. Optional 2 Players mode uses the same device.
Pick a Color
In vs AI, tap Yellow (goes first) or Red (goes second). Yellow always opens in 2 Players mode.
Drop a Comet
Tap or click a column to drop your piece. On desktop, hover to preview the landing slot. Pieces fall to the lowest empty space.
Connect Four
Get four of your pieces in a row — horizontally, vertically, or diagonally — before your opponent does. A full board without a winner is a draw.
Captain Tips
Control the Center
The middle column touches the most possible 4-in-a-rows. Dominating it gives you far more winning lines.
Build Double Threats
A piece that creates two winning threats at once wins immediately — your opponent can only block one.
Respect the Bottom Row
Pieces dropped early stay forever. A single bottom piece can anchor diagonal and vertical threats many moves later.
Watch Diagonals
Diagonal fours are the hardest to spot under pressure and the most common way games end.
